Mirror shoes for the postmodern Cinderella

You cannot deny these shoes their glamour, but the glass is broken into uneven pieces, evoking associations that have little to do with allure. Shattered glass, shattered identity? In the vast sea of mirror shoes from Christian Louboutin's Very Galaxy Platform pumps with reflective surface in various colors to other designers' versions embellished with same-size glass pieces polished at the edges and neatly laid out on the shoe's strap or heel, the pictured pair is the one radiating an uncanny charm that makes me excited to try this DIY myself. I would wear them with all-black so as not to detract attention from the lightshow they put on when the weather is right and I most certainly wouldn't save them for special occasions; these mirror shoes would be the most thought-provoking where nobody expects them.
